Faridan County (Persian : شهرستان فریدن ) is in Isfahan province, Iran . Its capital is the city of Daran .[ 3]
History
After the 2011 National Census, Buin Miandasht District was separated from the county in the establishment of Buin Miandasht County .[ 4] In May 2013, Varzaq Rural District was separated from the Central District in the formation of Zendehrud District , which was divided into two rural districts, including the new Qarah Bisheh Rural District .[ 5]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 census, the county's population was 81,622 in 20,215 households.[ 6] The following census in 2011 counted 79,743 people in 22,770 households.[ 7] The 2016 census measured the population of the county as 49,890 in 15,547 households.[ 2]
