JetSynthesys
JetSynthesys is an Indian company headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra, that operates in the gaming and entertainment sector. It was founded by Rajan Navani, an alumnus of Purdue University.[1] HistoryJetsynthesys was started in 2014 as part of the Navani-owned Jetline Group of companies involved in packaging products. JetSynthesys has formed partnerships with many Indian celebrities like Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, and Bollywood playback singer Sonu Nigam.[2][3] FundingJetsynthesys was backed by co-founder of Infosys, Kris Gopalakrishnan in its early years of inception. In 2020 the company received investment from existing investor Kris Gopalakrishnan, Serum Institute of India's Chairman, Adar Poonawalla amongst others. Navani family-owned Jetline Group. Thermax family office, Triveni Group, and DSP Group have also invested in this round. Subsequently, in 2021, Sachin Tendulkar invested US$2 million in Jetsynthesys, which formed a Joint Venture of 100MB with Jetsynthesys.[4] Nautilus Mobile, a game development studio owned by Jetsynthesys received a $5.4 Mn investment from PUBG Maker Krafton Studios in 2022.[5] In 2024, Warner Music acquired a 26 percent stake in Global Music Junction (GMJ), a music and entertainment subsidiary of digital entertainment and technology company JetSynthesys.[6] According to reports, the company is expected to go public in the next 18-36 months to fund its expansion.[7] Investments and acquisitionsJetSynthesys has acquired a majority stake in Fanory, a content monetization platform for creators, co-founded by former Twitter India head Manish Maheshwari.[8] The company has also acquired a majority stake in Metaphy Labs.[9] Global e-cricket premier leagueJetSynthesys launched Global e-Cricket Premier League (GEPL), a franchise cricket tournament in 2023. The e-cricket tournament currently has teams owned by Zerodha founder Nikhil Kamath, Ankit Nagori, Gopal Srinivasan, amongst others.[10][11] References
