At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,762 in 362 households, when it was in the former Meymeh District of Borkhar and Meymeh County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,682 people in 527 households,[6] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Shahin Shahr and Meymeh County.[7][b] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,700 people in 563 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
In 2024, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Meymeh and Vazvan County, and the rural district was transferred to the new Laybid District.[8]
