Earth Rooster (Chinese: 己酉; pinyin: jǐyǒu) is the 46th combination of the sexagenary cycle of the Chinese zodiac. It is preceded by Earth Monkey and followed by Metal Dog. In the traditional correspondence of the Heavenly Stems with the Five Phases, (己) represents yin and Earth, while the Earthly Branch yǒu (酉) corresponds to the Rooster zodiac.[1][2]
