Earth Dog (Chinese: 戊戌; pinyin: wùxū) is the 35th combination of the sexagenary cycle of the Chinese zodiac. It is preceded by Fire Rooster and followed by Earth Pig. In the traditional correspondence of the Heavenly Stems with the Five Phases, (戊) represents yang and Earth, while the Earthly Branch (戌) corresponds to the Dog zodiac.[1][2]
