Destara is a lifestyle application platform curated by British-Filipino feng shui consultant and writer Marites Allen that uses artificial intelligence and information about Chinese astrology to dispense forecasts, advice and warnings to subscribers.[1][2]
History
Destara was announced in 2026 amidst press events related to Marites Allen's annual Chinese New Year predictions.[3][4]
Destara was Marites Allen's second known mobile app project, preceded by a previous collaboration with Synergy88 Digital and ABS-CBN news publisher that yielded an astrology mobile app in 2018 and extended her yearly printed horoscope guide publications with AR (augmented reality) features in 2022 and beyond.[5][6][7]
Features
Destara has been reported by the press as an "AI mentor that coaches you in your Destiny path using Chinese astrology Feng Shui factors". Marites Allen in turn described Destara as an application that offers readers personalized advice from a compilation of information she regularly provides to clients as a consultant.[8]
