Delphi is an unincorporated community in Thurston County, in the U.S. state of Washington.[1] The community is located west of Tumwater and Black Lake; the town of Littlerock lies to the south. The name Delphi denotes "place of the Gods".[2]

History

A post office was established at Delphi in 1892, and remained in operation until 1923.[3][2]

The Delphi School was built in 1910 and served as a primary school for the local community until the 1940s.[4][5]

Park and Recreation

The Mima Mounds Natural Area Preserve, declared a National Natural Landmark, is south of the community. Delphi lies near the border of Capitol State Forest.
