Castelnou (French pronunciation: [kastɛlnu] ^ⓘ; Catalan: Castellnou dels Aspres [kəsˌteʎˈnɔw dəɫs aspɾəs]) is a commune in the Pyrénées-Orientales department in southern France.

Castelnou is located in the canton of Les Aspres and in the arrondissement of Perpignan.

It is part of the Northern Catalan comarca of Rosselló. It is located within the subcomarca of Aspres [ca], with the northern area of the commune being part of Riberal de la Tet [ca].
