Ameer Lashon Speed (born October 11, 1999) is an American professional football cornerback . He played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs and Michigan State Spartans .[ 2] [ 3] New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL draft .[ 4] [ 5]

New England Patriots
Speed was selected by the New England Patriots in the sixth round, 214th overall, of the 2023 NFL draft .[ 8] [ 9]
Indianapolis Colts
On October 20, 2023, Speed was claimed off waivers by the Indianapolis Colts .[ 10]
Speed was waived by the Colts on August 27, 2024, and re-signed to the practice squad.[ 11] [ 12] [ 13]
Chicago Bears
On September 25, 2024, Speed was signed to the Chicago Bears practice squad.[ 14]
On April 8, 2025, Speed signed his exclusive rights free agent contract with the Bears.[ 15] [ 16]
