The 2024 Pinstripe Bowl was a college football bowl game played on December 28, 2024, at Yankee Stadium in Bronx, New York. The 14th annual Pinstripe Bowl game featured Boston College and Nebraska. The game aired at approximately 12:00 noon EST on ABC.[3][4][a] The Pinstripe Bowl was one of the 2024–25 bowl games concluding the 2024 FBS football season. The game was sponsored by lawn mower manufacturing company Bad Boy Mowers and was officially known as the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl.

Teams

Consistent with conference tie-ins, the game featured Boston College from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and Nebraska from the Big Ten Conference.

Boston College Eagles

Boston College compiled a regular-season record of 7–5 (4–4 in conference). The Eagles faced three ranked teams, defeating Florida State while losing to Missouri and SMU.

Nebraska Cornhuskers

Nebraska finished their regular season with a 6–6 record (3–6 in conference). The Cornhuskers won their first three games and were briefly ranked nationally, but fell out of the rankings after losing to Illinois. After winning five of their first six games, Nebraska lost five of their final six games. The Cornhuskers lost to three ranked FBS teams: Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio State.
