Σουδανικές Ένοπλες Δυνάμεις

Οι Σουδανικές Ένοπλες Δυνάμεις (αραβικά: القوات المسلحة السودانية‎‎) είναι οι στρατιωτικές δυνάμεις της Δημοκρατίας του Σουδάν. Το 2011, το Διεθνές Ινστιτούτο Στρατηγικών Μελετών υπολόγισε τον αριθμό των τακτικών δυνάμεων σε 109.300 άτομα,[1] ενώ το 2016–2017, οι παραστρατιωτικές Δυνάμεις Ταχείας Υποστήριξης είχαν 40.000 μέλη που συμμετείχαν στον Εμφύλιο Πόλεμο της Υεμένης (εκ των οποίων 10.000 επέστρεψαν στο Σουδάν έως τον Οκτώβριο του 2019).[2]

Οι Σουδανικές Ένοπλες Δυνάμεις σήμερα είναι εξοπλισμένες κυρίως με σοβιετικά, ρωσικά, κινεζικά, ουκρανικά και σουδανικά κατασκευασμένα όπλα. Έχουν μια εταιρεία παραγωγής όπλων που ονομάζεται Military Industry Corporation.[3] Σημαντικά στοιχεία διατέθηκαν από τις ομάδες εμπειρογνωμόνων του ΟΗΕ για το Σουδάν σχετικά με τις προμήθειες όπλων στις σουδανικές δυνάμεις.
