Ο 'Όθων (γαλλ.: Otton de Vermandois, 29 Αυγούστου 979 - 25 Μαΐου 1045) από τον Οίκο των Καρολιδών ήταν κόμης του Βερμαντουά.

Βιογραφία

Ήταν ο δευτερότοκος γιος του Ερβέρτου Γ΄ κόμη του Βερμαντουά και της Ερμενγάρδης[2] του Μπαρ-συρ-Σεν[3].

Διαδέχθηκε τον πατέρα του το 1015 ως κόμης του Βερμαντουά[2], μια και ο μεγαλύτερος αδελφός του Αδαλβέρτος Γ΄ απεβίωσε το ίδιο έτος με τον πατέρα του. Έδωσε με δωρητήριο χάρτη ιδιοκτησίες στη Νοτρ-Νταμ ντε Ομπλιέρ. Απεβίωσε το 1045 και τον διαδέχθηκε ο γιος του Ερβέρτος Δ΄.

Οικογένεια

Νυμφεύτηκε την Πάβια/Πάτια[2] και είχε τέκνα:

  • Όντο Α΄ 1040-1086, του Φουρνώ.
  • Ερβέρτος Δ΄ 1028-1080, κόμης του Βερμαντουά[4].
  • Σίμων απεβ. μετά το 1076, κύριος του Χαμ.
  • Πέτρος.
