Die Spirocercidae sind eine Familie der Rollschwänze mit etwa 80 Arten.[1]
Merkmale
Die Familie hat die Merkmale der Rollschwänze. Der Pharynx ist nicht seitlich zusammengedrückt und enthält manchmal Rauigkeiten oder ringförmige Verdickungen. Die Mundöffnung ist sechseckig, die Mundhöhle hat stets Zähne.[2]
