Sakaina (benannt nach Tune Sakai) ist eine Gattung der Krabben mit sieben Arten.[1] Sie bewohnt die Gezeitenzone und den Schelf in Tiefen bis 47 m im gemäßigten Nordwestpazifik (China, Japan, Korea).[2]

Merkmale

Sakaina wird bis zu 2,2 mm lang. Der Carapax der Weibchen ist queroval, 1,6 bis 1,8mal so breit wie lang. Der Propodus des dritten Maxillipeden ist so lang wie der Carpus, die Finger wenig länger als breit und am Ende des Propodus ansetzend. Das erste und zweite Schreitbeinpaar (P2 und P3) sind etwa gleich groß und bedeutend größer und dicker als die übrigen beiden.[2]
