Psaumis ist eine Gattung der Rundkrabben mit zwei rezenten Arten.[1] Sie besiedeln die Gezeitenzone und den Schelf in Tiefen zwischen 0 und 25 m im Indopazifik.[2]

Merkmale

Der Carapax ist bis zu 8,4 mm lang und deutlich breiter. Die Regionen sind deutlich und erodiert. Der vordere Seitenrand ist mit breiten Zähnen bewehrt. Das Sternum bildet bei Männchen vor dem Telson eine große, beckenartige Höhle. Die Schreitbeine falten sich in eine Aushöhlung des hinteren Seitenrands. Ihre Carpi und Propodi tragen einen stark gebogenen, deutlich hervortretenden Kamm, der vorn ausgehöhlt ist und so eine flache, tassenförmige Struktur bildet.[2]
