Die Polydectinae, im Englischen als boxer crabs bezeichnet, sind eine Unterfamilie der Rundkrabben.[1] Sie bewohnen Korallenriffe im Indopazifik. Sie tragen oft ein oder zwei Seeanemonen, seltener Nacktkiemer mit ihrem hinteren Beinpaar mit sich, die vermutlich Nahrung für die Krabbe sammeln und die zum Kampf gegen Artgenossen eingesetzt werden.[2]
Merkmale
Die Fingerspitzen der Scheren (Chelae) sind mit scharfen Zähnen bewaffnet.[2]

Die Unterfamilie umfasst folgende drei Gattungen:[1]
