Parapinnixa ist eine Gattung der Krabben mit zehn Arten.[1] Sie bewohnt die Gezeitenzone und den Schelf in Tiefen bis 89 m im tropischen Westatlantik und Ostpazifik.[2]
Merkmale
Parapinnixa wird bis zu 5 mm lang. Der Carapax der Weibchen ist queroval, 1,3- bis 2,3-mal so breit wie lang. Das erste Schreitbeinpaar (P2) ist größer als das zweite, beide sind bedeutend größer und dicker als die übrigen beiden.[2]

Synonym ist Pseudopinnixa Holmes, 1895.[1]
