Lipkemedaeus ist eine Gattung der Rundkrabben mit zwei rezenten Arten.[1] Sie besiedeln die Gezeitenzone und den Schelf in Tiefen zwischen 0 und 134 m im tropischen Ostpazifik.[2]
Merkmale
Der Carapax ist bis zu 9 mm lang, oval und etwa 1,4-mal so breit wie lang. Die Regionen sind undeutlich. Der vordere Seitenrand ist mit schlanken Dornen bewehrt, die oft basale Nebendornen aufweisen.[2]
Systematik
Zur Gattung gehören folgende Arten:[1]
- Lipkemedaeus pelagius (Glassell, 1936)
- Lipkemedaeus spinulifer (Rathbun, 1898)
Synonym ist Stimpsonia Števčić, 2005.[1]
