Lioxanthodes ist eine Gattung der Rundkrabben mit drei rezenten Arten.[1] Sie besiedeln die Gezeitenzone im zentralen und westlichen Indopazifik.[2]

Merkmale

Der Carapax wird bis zu 8 mm lang und ist 1,5- bis 1,9-mal breiter. Die Oberfläche ist glatt und die Regionen sind kaum abgegrenzt. Der vordere Seitenrand ist mit vier wellenförmigen Lappen bewehrt. Die Scherenbeine sind deutlich ungleich groß und verschieden gestaltet. Die kleinere Schere ist schmaler. Die Fingerenden sind abgerundet und im Bereich der Schneidekante ausgehöhlt. Das Fingerende der größeren Schere hat eine stumpfe Spitze.[2]
