Guitonia ist eine Gattung der Rundkrabben mit drei rezenten Arten.[1] Sie besiedeln die Gezeitenzone und mit Meerwasser gefüllte Unterwasserhöhlen im zentralen und östlichen Indopazifik sowie im tropischen Ostpazifik.[2]

Merkmale

Der Carapax wird maximal 10 mm lang. Die vordere Hälfte ist gekörnt und die Regionen sind abgrenzbar, die hintere Hälfte ist glatt und Regionen sind nicht erkennbar. Der vordere Seitenrand ist mit drei Zähnen bewehrt, von denen der letzte kleiner als die beiden vorderen ist. Der Merus des letzten Schreitbeins ist viermal so lang wie breit.[2]
