Coralliope ist eine Gattung der Rundkrabben mit zwei rezenten Arten.[1] Sie besiedeln die tiefe Gezeitenzone, den Schelf und den Kontinentalhang in Tiefen zwischen 6 und 355 Metern im tropischen Atlantik und tropischen Ostpazifik.[2]

Merkmale

Der Carapax wird maximal 4 mm lang. Er ist regelmäßig gekörnt. Die Regionen sind nur in der vorderen Hälfte abgrenzbar, wo die Oberfläche gekörnt ist. Die hintere Carapaxhälfte ist glatt. Der vordere Seitenrand ist mit drei Zähnen bewehrt, von denen der letzte kleiner als die beiden vorderen ist. Der distolaterale Rand des Merus des dritten Maxillipeden ist abgerundet, der Außenrand seines Exopoditen ist gezackt. Das Ende des ersten Gonopoden verschmälert sich, ist aber nicht seitlich abgebogen.[2]
