Hi Slovebz! We're so happy you wanted to play to learn, as a friendly and fun way to get into our community and mission. I think these links might be helpful to you as you get started.
Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. — Malik ShabazzTalk/Stalk17:22, 18 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
If you wish to nominate this article for deletion, please follow the steps at WP:AFDHOWTO or post your reasoning at WT:AFD. Someone there will assist you. You might also consider the suggestion on the article's talk page that this article be merged into a list of similar lawsuits - a merge here may be the simplest and best option. Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Chen Long a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Escape Orbit(Talk)14:53, 20 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not move pages in this fashion. See the note above for instructions in how it should be done. You should also explain why his name should be changed when all the sources refer to him as "Chen". --Escape Orbit(Talk)14:58, 20 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Additionally, if you believe strongly enough to change Chen Long to Shen Long then that needs to be discussed on the Talk Page of Chen Long's article or here: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Badminton. The latter page will be especially important if looking to change more than just Chen Long's name. --MorrisIV (talk) 16:11, 20 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your message. I understand what you are saying but I have a few questions;
The name may be pronounced "Shen", but is it not still written "Chen"? The page you linked to says (after google translation) exactly this.
Do you have any sources regarding how mispronouncing Long's name has been an personal issue for him? We need that specifically.
Either way, Wikipedia policy on names says the article should be called the name a person is best known by. If Chen Long is the name he has competed under, then that should be the article's name. If you have a source that shows that his personal or birth name is different, then that can be discussed within the article.
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mei Fong, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chinese. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
Hello, Slovebz. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
I noticed your recent edit to United Express Flight 3411 incident does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary.
Thanks! This will be very helpful, rather than marking all edits as "minor". DonFB (talk) 11:23, 16 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Marking edits minor
Hello Slovebz. A friendly reminder: please don't mark edits such as this one as minor. You actually appear to be marking all of your edits as minor, and this is potentially misleading to your fellow editors. For more information, please see Help:Minor edit. It also would be helpful if you'd use edit summaries, as another editor requested in the section just above this one. Thanks for your help, and happy editing! Thank you for expanding Joseph Tsai. However much of what you have added is uncited. In accordance with WP:BLP you should cite any sentence added to an article about a living person. And please leave edit summaries - see Wikipedia:Edit summary legend for some ideas. I have also left this message on the article talkpage, which is where you should post any response (should you wish to reply!) . Edwardx (talk) 00:29, 17 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Hello, Slovebz. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, John S. Weinberg, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want John S. Weinberg to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.
If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.
Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from John S. Weinberg. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Bobby Shepherd, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page First Baptist Church. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

You have recently edited a page related to articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Marking as minor (again) and BLP issues
Hi, I see you have previously been warned not to mark edits as minor back in 2017. This is still continuing today here as advised by Ptrnext (talk·contribs). You also reverted my edits to this same content, which are not allowed, please read WP:BLPRESTORE. Adding and re-adding content to a BLP that lacks proper sourcing is a violation and can get your banned. Jtbobwaysf (talk) 06:15, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Court documents cannot be used to support personal information in BLPs. Also, the names of non-notable family members and minor children are nearly always excluded from articles per WP:BLPNAME. Please do not continue to add or restore them.-- Ponyobons mots17:41, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Why? Facts such as marriage status are easily verifiable. However, filing false document in federal court is disbarment level offense even if the attorney thinks it's true, and CZ is represented by Quinn Emanuel and Latham Watkins.[1] And also the district judge has sentenced him, meaning all documents reviewed. So if I'm not mistaken, you are saying that it's possible for high seven-figure attorneys to risk disbarment on mudane tasks of verifying simple facts and Article III judge should be assumed unreliable. I have to say that is quite astounding. Slovebz (talk) 18:26, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Why? Because policy dictates it. That you would even make these arguments after so many warnings and a contentious topics warning is itself "astounding". You're a hair's breadth away from a topic ban on BLPs altogether, so I strongly suggest that you get a solid grasp on the policy you continue to violate. -- Ponyobons mots19:02, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You also added the names of minor children here and marked it as a minor edit. Adding the names of minor children is never a minor edit. If you do not understand why, please stop marking any edits as minor. Valereee (talk) 14:07, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
