The IP is most likely a sock of User:Vintagekits, or an account that was taught to be his but failed SPI User:MFIreland, thin evidence these were linked. Here was the last SPI filing on MFIreland, and here is a very helpful list relating to the edits carried out by MFIreland and possible socks, which shows the long term abuse pattern. In placenames, we only use English and Irish, unless the name is derived from another language (Wexford is a good example). Don't keep adding Yola names in modern named articles (the Irish Sea), the is a manual of style, WP:MOS and a dedicated Irish one WP:IMOS. Hi Murray, please don't feel the need to correct someone who says that they're Irish from being that way. Yes, he's German born but identifies himself as being an Irish person. He's Irish born, raised, educated, lived most his life, parents still live there. It's not a technicality like say, Jimmy Carr, having Irish parents; he's still English. I have a girlfriend with a German father, she's not identified as German-Irish or Irish-German. This is more relevant in the USA no doubt, where many are from 2 places, living in a third. Jimmy Carr is Irish-British in his article. "he's German born but identifies himself as being an Irish person" well in his own words "I suppose the German side wants to keep everything in control, and the Irish side wants to wreak havoc!". You are not doing things in the correct way. You are using your view, and understanding of how things work. At birth Fassbender, born in Germany to a German father, was German. His mother is from Northern Ireland, so he was also entitled to British and Irish citizenship, which he has since used in the Irish sense. I have used his own words and and those of others. He also speaks German, btw. Why don;'t ou leave it as it is sourced? Also Irish is spoken in Canada, in a gealtacht for your further learning on here. Stop using your own idieas on here. Hi. I'm curious why you're so insistent that Gob Lofa is a sockpuppet of Lapsed Pacifist. I had a look over LP's history again there, and I can see the similarity in the way that he called editors out on article talk pages and demanded answers from them, but apart from that I didn't think his talk page style was very like Gog Lofa's. Also, LP had very obvious political biases, such as never referring to Northern Ireland as Northern Ireland, which aren't apparent in Gob Lofa. There is currently a great barney going on at Talk:Flag of Northern Ireland, a page where LP was once heavily involved (see here), but Gob Lofa appears to be blissfully unaware of it. LP was also heavily involved at Talk:Shell to Sea, but Gob Lofa's edits to that article have been purely gnomish. It would be surprising if somebody as disruptive as LP was able to operate a sock account for years without more editors noticing it. Sometimes an editor who annoys you is just that; it isn't always a sock of somebody else. Hello, Murry1975. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
