This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
Please carefully read this information:
A community discussion has authorised the use of general sanctions for pages related to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The specific details of these sanctions are described here.
Broadly, general sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after he or she has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. This notification is meant to inform you that sanctions are authorised in these topic areas, which you have been editing. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. Your recent editing history at Daniel (biblical figure) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. tgeorgescu (talk) 14:47, 22 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2021-06-22T14:47:00.000Z","author":"Tgeorgescu","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Tgeorgescu-2021-06-22T14:47:00.000Z-June_2021","replies":[]}}-->

Just FYI, according to wp:HOWTOSD, the wp:short description is limited to 40 characters. IMO, that is a stupidly small limit [the reason is sillier, so I won't bore you with it] and your edit to the SD at Swastika is another example of why it should be increased, because your clarification is essential to my eye. Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021.

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Europe. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Please do not make potentially controversial page moves (and it's safe to assume that moving any FA would be controversial) without first reading the talk page to see whether it has been discussed before, and starting a discussion if it hasn't already been discussed. Please check the sources next time before removing anything you think is incorrect. ☿ Apaugasma (talk☉)12:39, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"20230424123900","author":"Apaugasma","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Apaugasma-20230424123900-Caution:_do_not_change_sourced_text_to_what_you_think_it_should_say","replies":[]}}-->

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to James II of England. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. @Binksternet: And? You're saying that this edit, as in the one you've actually undone rather than what you've pointed me to, that was made two and a half years after my own faulty edit was undone was in any way influenced by mine? That is far too removed to identify any connection. Do you mind not pointing fingers, please? Furthermore, I've been editing Wikipedia for long enough since then to know that my edit that I made while still working things out here was not necessarily appropriate, and it was removed like a month after I made it. That was all three bloody years ago, as you've pointed out. So I'd advise you review a user's more recent activity if you want to decide whether or not to lecture them, if you don't mind. Hello, I cannot see a problem with my edit that you reverted. The edit was to fix a date error of 2023-11 -> November 2023. The other changes were AWB general fixes, apart from one where |lang=en would be changed to |language=en which is pointless to indicating the language is English as it is the English Wikipedia. So I removed that altogether. @Keith D: The aspect of your edit that came to my attention is that your edit removed the text "FIRST TURKIC KHAGANATE" as an image overlay and instead replaced it with the number three enclosed in brackets. Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done.
Hello, I'm Neveselbert. I noticed that you recently removed content from Margaret Thatcher without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Hello. Your recent edit to the United States Electoral College article was not an improvement to the article. The version you changed was more precise in how the senators and representatives are "combined" by addition, and was more accurate in how the number of representatives is dependent on the census report rather than simply "proportional" which it is not. You did not include Edit Summary explaining how your version was an improvement. I have reverted it to the prior version. We can discuss it on my talk page if you want to. DocRuby (talk) 16:07, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"20241008160700","author":"DocRuby","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-DocRuby-20241008160700-United_States_Electoral_College_edit","replies":["c-GOLDIEM_J-20241008192500-DocRuby-20241008160700"]}}-->
@DocRuby: I mean not that the exact wording of the article really matters to me all that much, but have to ask how is "proportional" supposed to be inaccurate? Look at the List of U.S. states and territories by population / State and territory rankings article section, sorting the table by population per seat. You'll see that the states census populations range from 542,113 (MT) through 989,948 (DE) per House seat, which is not proportional. Instead the apportionment is via a complex method described in the apportionment method article section that moves seats from one state to another when the relative census populations change, which grows disparities among states over time. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Kingdom of England. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. The thread you started on the talk page had a response, if you want to reply to that.Belbury (talk) 18:02, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"20241112180200","author":"Belbury","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Belbury-20241112180200-November_2024","replies":[]}}-->
