The Grundrisse der Kritik der Politischen Ökonomie (lit.'Foundations of a Critique of Political Economy', German pronunciation:[ˈɡʁʊntˌʁɪsədeːɐ̯kʁiˈtiːkdeːɐ̯poˈliːtɪʃn̩ˌøkonoˈmiː]),[1] often simply the Grundrisse (lit.'Foundations', German pronunciation:[ˈɡʁʊntˌʁɪsə]), is an unfinished manuscript by the German philosopher Karl Marx.
