Arjun (Sushanth) is a bachelor who does not want to get married. Under constant pressure from his parents (Anu Hasan and Sanjay Swaroop), and his best friend Sujit (Vennela Kishore), Arjun agrees to a blind date with a traditional woman named Anjali (Ruhani Sharma). On his first date Arjun confesses his disinterest in the matchmaking efforts of his parents. Anjali expresses her disappointment and shares her mother's desperation and guilt in her inability to get her daughter married.
After hearing this, Arjun sympathises with Anjali but does accept her request to either agree or decline the marriage proposal. Arjun wants to get to know Anjali but Anjali rejects the idea saying there is no time to date.
Meanwhile Anjali's mother is hospitalized due to abnormal blood pressure. Anjali learns about her mother's condition and asks Arjun to drop her off at the hospital. In the frenzy of events that follows, Arjun and Anjali realise that they are perfect for each other.
