Austria competed at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China, from 4 to 20 February 2022.[1][2]

Julia Dujmovits and Benjamin Maier were the country's flagbearer during the opening ceremony.[3] Meanwhile alpine skiers Katharina Liensberger and Johannes Strolz were the flagbearer during the closing ceremony.[4]

Sara Marita Kramer, one of the gold medal favorites, tested positive for COVID-19 on 30 January, one day before the Austrian team was leaving to Beijing, and was not allowed to fly to China even though she had no symptoms.[8]
