Pre-season and friendlies

On 4 June, Crewe announced their pre-season preparations, with matches against Newcastle Town, Stafford Rangers, Stoke City, Tamworth and Blackpool.[23] Two weeks later, the club confirmed the squad would travel to Algarve for a five day training camp.[24]
