Skone

Skone (Sweeds en Deens Skåne, Latyn Scania) is 'n historiese provinsie in die suide van Swede wat tot in die 17de eeu deel uitgemaak het van die Koninkryk Denemarke. Skone was in hierdie opsig rigtingaangewend aangesien die res van die land nog in die 1960's slegs oor kort snelweë beskik het wat nie met mekaar verbind was nie. Skone se netwerk het uit die internasionale veerboothawens geloop, en intussen maak die Öresundbrug ook deel uit van hierdie netwerk.

Skone beskik daarnaas oor 'n eersterangse spoorwegnetwerk. Op die lyn tussen Malmö en Stockholm ry moderne X 2000-hoëspoedtreine, terwyl die treindienste Pågatåg en Öresundståg belangrike nedersettings in Skone met mekaar verbind. Met die voltooiing van die Öresundbrug is die treinskedules in Skone by dié van die Deense eiland Seeland aangepas.
