Duda dan janda

Seorang janda di Nigeria

Duda (pria) dan janda (wanita) ialah istilah untuk seseorang yang telah cerai atau ditinggal mati oleh pasangan pernikahannya.[1][2] Selain duda, istilah lain untuk lelaki yang bercerai atau ditinggal mati ialah balu.

Istilah janda kembang ditujukan bagi seorang janda yang masih muda, dan belum memiliki anak dari hasil pernikahannya.
