Monumen

Sepatu-sepatu di Tepi Danube adalah sebuah monumen yang didirikan pada 16 April 2005, di Budapest, Hungaria. Dibuat oleh sutradara film Can Togay, ia membangunnya di tepi timur Sungai Danube dengan pemahat Gyula Pauer [hu] untuk menghormati Yahudi yang dibantai oleh militia fasis Hungaria yang berasal dari Partai Salib Panah di Budapest pada Perang Dunia II. Mereka diperintahkan untuk melepas sepatu mereka, dan ditembak di tepi perairan tersebut sehingga jasad mereka jatuh ke dalam sungai. Monumen tersebut mewakili sepatu-sepatu mereka yang ditinggalkan di tepi tersebut.
