NGC 52 (PGC 978) adalah sebuah galaksi spiral yang berada di tepi konstelasi Pegasus. Galaksi ini ditemukan pada tanggal 18 September 1784 oleh William Herschel. Dia menggambarkannya sebagai "sangat samar, kecil, diperpanjang."

Karakteristik Fisik

Galaksi ini berjarak sekitar 150.000 tahun cahaya dengan ukuran sekitar 1,5 kali lebih besar seperti bima Sakti. Galaksi ini juga memiliki satelit galaksi elips yang disebut PGC 1563523.
