Hakim-hakim 11 (disingkat Hak 11) adalah bagian dari Kitab Hakim-hakim dalam Alkitab Ibrani dan Perjanjian Lama di Alkitab Kristen.[1][2]

Ayat 39

Setelah lewat kedua bulan itu, kembalilah ia kepada ayahnya, dan ayahnya melakukan kepadanya apa yang telah dinazarkannya itu; jadi gadis itu tidak pernah kenal laki-laki. (TB)[5]

Rupanya nyata bahwa Yefta tidak secara jasmaniah mengorbankan nyawa putrinya (ayat Hakim–hakim 11:30–31), setidak-tidaknya karena dua alasan.

  1. Yefta pasti mengetahui hukum Allah yang dengan tegas melarang pengorbanan manusia sehingga dia tahu bahwa Allah memandang tindakan semacam itu suatu kekejian yang tidak dapat diterima (Imamat 18:21; Imamat 20:2–5; Ulangan 12:31; 18:10–12).
  2. Penekanan bahwa gadis itu "tidak pernah kenal laki-laki" menunjukkan bahwa dia dipersembahkan kepada Allah sebagai persembahan yang hidup, agar dia mengabdikan seluruh hidupnya pada kesucian dan pelayanan di kemah suci nasional (bandingkan Keluaran 38:8; 1 Samuel 2:22).[6]
