Dacia Romawi

Dacia Romawi,[1] juga disebut Dacia Traiana[2] atau Dacia Felix,[3] adalah provinsi Kekaisaran Romawi (106-271/275 AD).[1][2][4] Wilayah ini meliputi Transylvania timur dan tenggara, Banat dan Oltenia.[3] Sejarawan memperkirakan Dacia Romawi memiliki populasi sekitar 650.000 hingga 1.200.000 penduduk.[5]

Penaklukan Dacia diselesaikan oleh Kaisar Trajan (98-117) setelah dua peperangan melawan Kerajaan Dacia.[3] Namun, tidak semua wilayah Dacia diduduki oleh Romawi: Moldavia, Maramureş, dan Crişana tetap dikuasai oleh Dacia.[5]
