Controlled Impact Rescue Tool

Controlled Impact Rescue Tool, atau CIRT, adalah alat pemecah beton yang diproduksi oleh Raytheon, yang mampu memberikan kemampuan bagi tim Urban Search & Rescue (USAR) untuk menembus dinding beton bertulang hingga empat kali lebih cepat daripada metode tradisional.[1][2][3]

Dalam pengembangan sejak 2007, alat sepanjang 38 inci, 105 pon ini menggunakan kartrid amunisi kosong untuk menggerakkan piston yang menghasilkan sentakan berenergi tinggi untuk membuat lubang di beton. Serangkaian lubang ini memungkinkan terciptanya area yang cukup luas untuk mengirimkan pasokan vital seperti makanan, air, dan obat-obatan kepada para korban sebelum petugas pertolongan pertama dapat membawa korban ke tempat yang aman.
