Ambyar Awards 2020 adalah acara penyelenggaraan penganugerahan pertama dari Ambyar Awards yang diselenggarakan MNCTV dan ditujukan bagi para musisi campursari dan dangdut milenial di Indonesia yang membawakan karya atau lirik lagu tentang patah hati. Ambyar Awards 2020 disiarkan pada Jumat, 28 Agustus 2020, pukul 20.20 WIB secara langsung dari Studio RCTI+, MNC Studios, Kebon Jeruk, Jakarta Barat.

Sederet penyanyi dangdut kenamaan siap memeriahkan Ambyar Awards, diantaranya adalah Nita Thalia, Inul Daratista, Cak Sodiq, Via Vallen, Happy Asmara, Tri Suaka, Jihan Audy, Tasya Rosmala, Resa Lawangsewu, Ardea KDI, Lyia, Hendra Kumbara, Denny Caknan, Abah Lala, Ndarboy Genk, Ilux ID, Pendhoza, Dory Harsa dan Sintya Marisca.

Acara ini juga dipandu oleh pembawa acara Vega Darwanti, Danang Pradana Dieva, dan Anwar Sanjaya. Pengumuman pemenang Ambyar Awards akan dikemas dengan protokol kesehatan COVID-19.[1]

Penghargaan dan nominasi

Ambyar Awards dibagi menjadi 8 kategori dan 1 kategori special awards. 5 kategori akan dipilih pemirsa melalui aplikasi RCTI+ dan Instagram @officialmnctv yakni Lagu Patah Hati Favorit, Pendatang Baru Terambyar, Penyanyi Cover Lagu Terambyar, Penyanyi Pria Favorit Terambyar, dan Penyanyi Wanita Favorit Terambyar. 3 kategori akan dipilih berdasarkan penilaian juri, yakni Lagu Patah Hati Terbaik, Penyanyi Terambyar Pria Terbaik, dan Penyanyi Terambyar Wanita Terbaik.[1]

Nominasi Ambyar Awards 2020 pilihan pemirsa diumumkan pada 9 Agustus 2020 lewat akun Instagram resmi MNCTV.[2][3][4][5][6] Pemilihan melalui sistem voting dapat dilakukan lewat akun Instagram resmi @officialmnctv dan aplikasi RCTI+ mulai tanggal 9 hingga 27 Agustus 2020.[7][8]
