離世

海契2022年8月5日發生車輛自撞事故，據報導海契的車子先撞上公寓大樓的車庫，再撞上房子，汽車起火燃燒，進而波及樓房，導致其呼吸道被灼傷，並在醫院接受插管治療。[1][2]。除了她和寵物身受重傷，屋主的樓房也毀於一旦[3]。執法員警向《洛杉磯時報》表示，海契在事故發生時受了某種影響導致行為不正常，因此警方從醫院獲得了對海契的血液分析的搜查令，懷疑她在兩次事故中都受到酒精的影響。[4]

8月8日，海契的代表表示，本人處於昏迷狀態，命懸一線，肺部燙傷需要醫療通氣[5]。8月11日，該代表指出，因腦缺氧已無法存活。因本人曾表達器官捐贈意願，因此維生儀器必須持續啟動，以確保器官能夠捐贈。[6][7]

2022年8月12日，海契在關閉生命維持系統後去世，享年53歲，並於隔天移除維生裝置[8]。
