《Voices of the Lifestream》是OverClocked ReMix（英语：OverClocked ReMix）制作的一张非官方致敬合辑，以纪念植松伸夫为著名的视频游戏《最终幻想VII》所创作的配乐。合辑于2007年9月14日发行，以纪念《最终幻想VII》十周年。自发行以来，这张合辑获得了众多电子游戏网站和专业作曲家的好评。

开发

《Voices of the Lifestream》的制作始于2006年1月，由OverClocked ReMix的评审和混音师安德鲁·“锆石”·阿维萨（Andrew "zircon" Aversa）个人发起，旨在重新创作《最终幻想VII》的原声音乐[1]。在编导笔记中，阿维萨提到他对游戏《最终幻想VII》的怀旧体验是他进行这个项目的动力来源[2]。为此，他创建了一个私人论坛用于项目的开发，并联系了许多社区成员来协助制定曲目清单。整个项目的开发历时20个月以上，涉及到超过40位混音师共同创作了45首曲目[3][4]。合辑于2007年9月14日发布，以庆祝日本作曲家植松伸夫为游戏《最终幻想VII》创作的配乐推出十周年[5][6][7]。合辑的实体副本数量很少，些曲目以无损WAV和MP3格式数字发行[8]。《Voices of the Lifestream》也是OC ReMix（英语：OverClocked ReMix）发行的第九个作品[1]。

音乐视频比赛

在2007年10月，OverClocked ReMix与Piano Squall（英语：Michael Gluck）以及eStarland联合举办了一场比赛，比赛内容是制作一部以《Voices of the Lifestream》中的曲目为背景的音乐视频[9][10]。比赛设有三个不同的组别，包括《最终幻想VII》、动漫和原创。获奖者将获得签名限量版《Voices of the Lifestream》签名限量版等奖品，并有机会在OC ReMix参与的动漫和游戏展会上展示他们的视频作品。比赛于12月14日结束，两个月后在OverClocked ReMix论坛上宣布了获奖名单：[11]
