2013年世界棒球經典賽B組

臺中市洲際棒球場

2013年世界棒球經典賽B組是於2013年3月2日至3月5日之間，在台灣臺中市臺中市洲際棒球場舉行的賽事。比賽採取循環賽制，每隊將會遭遇其他三隊，小組前兩名取得晉級下一輪的資格。而若比賽進行至五局領先達十五分，或七局達十分，即提前結束比賽。

本組共有澳洲、南韓、荷蘭與在資格賽獲勝的地主台灣四隊。

最後台灣、荷蘭、韓國皆拿下2勝1敗，在比較TQB後地主台灣、荷蘭分別以B組第一及第二名的成績晉級第二輪的比賽。韓國則以B組第三名遭到淘汰，但仍取得2017年世界棒球經典賽會內賽資格；澳洲則因三戰全敗，在四年後的2017年世界棒球經典賽將必須從資格賽打起。在日本東京東京巨蛋舉行的第一組第二輪比賽，將由台灣和荷蘭分別對上從A組晉級的古巴和日本。

觀戰熱潮

3月5日晚間於臺中市洲際棒球場舉行的B組中韓大戰單場觀戰球迷有約23431人，創下近12年票房新高紀錄；而入口網站Yahoo!奇摩的現場文字轉播，約到晚間十一時，線上瀏覽人數突破四萬；批踢踢實業坊的baseball板上人數達成批踢踢史上第一次黃爆；當晚運動彩券對賽局投注金額也創下六千萬元的新紀錄；電視收視率也創下台灣有線電視史上，單一節目最高收視率的紀錄，達到平均12.17，每分鐘約有269.3萬名觀眾收看，相當於逾半數國人觀看此場比賽，不過三天後，隨即被中華隊與日本隊的比賽收視率再次打破。[1]顯示全國民眾對此場球賽的高度矚目。
