2011年蘇迪曼盃為第12屆蘇迪曼盃，是一項由羽毛球世界联合会（BWF）主辦的全球性羽毛球賽事。本屆賽事於2011年5月22日-5月29日在中國山东省青岛市舉行，這是中國第三次舉行此項賽事[1]。本屆決賽，中國以總場數3比0擊敗丹麥，成功衛冕冠軍，並第二度實現四連冠[2]。

比賽場地

座位數目：12,500
体育馆共設五個場地（1-5號）。小組賽至半準決賽的賽事將在五個場地同步進行；至準決賽和決賽則只保留中間的1號場地[3]。

賽前籌備

申辦與籌備

世界羽聯於2010年5月12日在馬來西亞舉行的世界羽聯代表大會上，宣佈由中國山东省青島市為本屆蘇迪曼盃的主辦城市[4]。

賽事的組織委員會於2011年2月20日成立，由国家体育总局副局长暨中國羽毛球協會主席蔡振华、山東省副省長黃勝及青島市市長夏耕出任主席，中国羽毛球协会名誉副主席李富荣出任名誉主任；組委會並於同日與主赞助商双星集团簽訂合同[5]。

參賽隊伍及抽籤

本屆賽事共有33個國家代表隊參賽，其中14隊來自歐洲、13隊來自亞洲。各隊伍將按種子排名在四個級別作賽，再經過小組單循環賽、淘汰賽、半決賽、決賽決出最後冠軍。

本屆賽事中「第一級別」的隊伍首次由8隊增加至12隊；只有「第一級別」的12支隊伍具資格爭奪蘇迪曼盃，餘下的21支隊伍將在三個組別中競逐爭冠賽[6]。分組的抽籤儀式於2011年4月15日在青島舉行。[7]

裁判工作

本屆賽事的裁判共有43名，由世界羽聯從各個國家選出；而司線員則全部由中國負責，其中來自青島市的佔35名[3]。

開幕式

賽事的開幕式於2011年5月21日在青岛市香格里拉大饭店舉行。期間，蘇迪曼盃組委會主任黃勝宣佈比賽開幕，並由中國羽毛球國家隊隊員马晋代表運動員宣誓[8]。

在開幕式期間，世界羽聯將「2010年最佳男女運動員」的獎項頒發予李宗伟及汪鑫[9]。

賽事規則

賽事為混合團體錦標賽，由男子單打、女子單打、男子雙打、女子雙打和混合雙打五個項目組成，並採用「五場三勝制」決勝負[10]。

各小組將進行單循環對賽，第一組別的小組前兩名晉級，其餘組別的隊伍則按小組排名進行名次賽。第一組別的賽事分為小組賽和淘汰賽兩階段，爭冠組的八強會在淘汰賽競逐，最後決出冠軍隊伍；待所有小組賽事在5月25日結束，大會會抽籤決定四分之一决赛的對陣形勢[10]。
