雙外牙接頭

雙外牙接頭是一種配件，由一小段管道組成，通常在兩端各有一個外管螺紋，用於連接其他兩個配件。螺紋接頭的長度通常用帶螺紋的總長度來指定。它的中心可能有一個六邊形部分，以便扳手抓住（有時稱為“六角接頭”），或者它可能只是由一小段管子製成（有時稱為“桶形接頭”或“管接頭”）。封閉式螺紋接頭只能透過用管扳手夾住螺紋端來擰下，這會損壞螺紋並需要更換螺紋接頭，或者使用稱為管鉗的專用工具來夾緊管道內部，保持螺紋完好無損。當兩端有兩種不同尺寸時，稱為異徑管或不等邊接頭。

接頭上使用的螺紋有英國標準管螺紋、英國標準管螺紋、美國國家標準管螺紋、國際單位制和公制。
