Rancho Corral de Tierra was a 4,436-acre (17.95 km2) Mexican land grant in present-day coastal western San Mateo County, northern California. It was given in 1839 by Governor Pro-Tem Manuel Jimeno to José Tiburcio Vásquez.[1] The name means “earthen corral” in Spanish.
