同志浴室
位於美國 华盛顿特区 洛根圆环 的一家同志浴室 同志浴室 ，亦稱同志桑拿室 （英語：Gay bathhouse [ 註 1] 性行為 的公共浴場 或三溫暖 。
同志浴室有別於一般用來洗澡 的公共浴室 ，是用作進行性行為 的地方。但不是所有光顧同志浴室的男性都認為自己是男同性戀 。为女性提供相似服务的公共浴室很罕见，但是一些男士公共浴室偶尔会设置“女同性恋”或者“仅限女性”的夜晚。
浴室的大小和设施各有不同：有的仅有一二十个房间和一些寄存柜；有的有好几层，房间大小不等风格各异甚至有蒸汽桑拿、喷流式气泡浴和游泳池。大多数都配备蒸汽室（或湿桑拿）、干桑拿、淋浴、寄存柜和小房间。
很多浴室出于法律原因仅限会员进入，会员资格一般是开放的，只要交很少的钱。与妓院 不同的是，顾客只需要支付使用设施的费用。如果发生了性行为，一般不是由员工提供的，而是在顾客之间发生的，这其中没有金钱交易。很多同志浴室为了遵守法律，明确表示禁止或不鼓励性交易 并禁止性工作者 混入。一些公共浴室尝试阻止顾客发生商业行为，另外一些贪图利润或不惧怕法律风险的浴室，会默许这些性行为的进行，但不会声张。
男性在浴室中寻求同性性行为可追溯到15世纪。公共浴室的历史课上溯至公元前6世纪，希腊也有很多同性性行为 的历史纪录。
欧美的男同性恋自19世纪末或20世纪开始在公共浴室 中发生性行为，由于同性性行为當時在大多数西方国家是不合法的，而且发生同性性行为的男性会被逮捕 或当众羞辱，男同开始经常在很多场所寻求与同性发生性行为，包括公共浴室、公园 、小巷、公共厕所 和健身房 更衣室等。
在台灣，至晚在1980年代即有同志三溫暖[ 1]
21世記後，由於網路交友的盛行以及許多國家同志合法化，同志三溫暖逐漸式微。
顾客一般在入口处获得了毛巾、一个储物柜钥匙和避孕套等。不成文规定是穿着浴衣或毛巾才可以在公区走动，但在干桑拿 或蒸汽桑拿中裸体也是正常的。[ 2] 浴缸 之外，性活动可以发生在任何地方，任何人都可以自由观看或尝试加入。[ 3]
在这种充满激情的环境中，一个眼神或点头就足以表达兴趣。在较暗的地方，例如迷宫、视频室、群交区、桑拿房或热水浴缸（但通常不在淋浴间、厕所、走廊、健身房、咖啡厅区和休息室），通常可以自由触摸其他顾客，但摇头或推开对方的手，则表示拒绝。[ 4] [ 5]
我通常发现有些人不会走开。当他们手伸向你的胯部时，你真的必须抓住他们的手并将其推开。有时我必须这样做两三四次，他们才善罢甘休，有时我实际上不得不对他们说滚蛋。
