主修专业

主修专业（英語：academic major）一般是指本科生学习的学科类别。成功完成专业的所有课程并达到成绩要求的学生有资格获得本科学位。专业有时在行政上也用于指研究生或研究生在硕士或博士课程中追求的学科。

主修专业通常包括完成所选学科的必修课和选修课。学生选择课程的自由度因课程而异。学术专业由学术部门的精选教师管理。由多个学术部门管理的专业称为跨学科专业。在某些情况下，学生可能被允许设计自己的专业，但须经教师批准。[1]
