שעדליץ (פּויליש: Siedlce, רוסיש: Седльце, סעדלעץ) איז א שטאט אין מזרח פוילן מיט 76,005 איינוואוינער. זייט 1999 איז די שטאט פלאצירט אין דער מאזאוויער וואויוואדעשאפט; פריער איז ער געווען די הויפשטאט פון א באזונדערער שעדליצער וואויוואדעשאפט (1975–1998).

די באפעלקערונג פארלאזט שטעט אין מזרח פוילן און ציט זיך אריבער אין מערב. לעצטנס טוען 14 פראצענט פון ארבעט־געבער רעפארטירן א מאנגל פון ארבעטער.

די שטאט, וואס געהערט צום היסטארישן פראווינץ פון קליינפוילן, איז געגרינדעט פארן 15טן יארהונדערט און ווערט דערמאנט אין א דאקומענט פון 1448. אין 1503 האט דניאל שעדלעצקי געבויט א ניי דארף מיטן זעלבן נאמען דערלעבן. אין 1547 איז די שטאט געשאפן פון די צוויי דערפער און האט באקומען מאגדעבורג רעכט פון קעניג זיגמונט דער אלטער.

אינעם צווייטן וועלט קריג זענען מער ווי העלפט פון די געביידעס אין דער שטאט פארניכטעט געווארן. די גאנצע יידישע באפעלקערונג זענען אומגעקומען אין דעם חורבן.

יידישע היסטאריע

ביזן צווייטן וועלט קריג האט שעדליץ געהאט א חשובע יידישע באפעלקערונג, און אפטמאל זענען יידן געווען א מערהייט פון די איינוואוינער. שוין אין מיטן 16טן יארהונדערט האבן יידן געוואוינט אין דער שטאט. אין אנהייב 18טן יארהונדערט האבן די יידן אויפגעשטעלט א שפיטאל אין דער שטאט. אין 1794 האט מען געעפנט א בית מדרש. אין 1798 האט מען געדארפט פארגרעסערן דעם בית עולם. אין יענער צייט איז די שטאט געקומען אונטער עסטרייכער הערשאפט ביי דער דריטער טיילונג פון פוילן. ביז 1819 איז די ווארשעווער יידישע קהילה געווען אונטער דעם רבנות פון די רבנים פון שעדליץ.

אין די פאלגנדע יארן איז די באפעלקערונג שטארק געוואקסן, און יידן זענען געווען א מערהייט אין דער שטאט: 3,727 (71.5%) אין 1839; 4,359 (65%) אין 1841; 5,153 (67.5%) אין 1858; 8,156 (64%) אין 1878. שפעטער האבן גויים זיך אריינגעצויגן אין שטאט; לויטן  רוסישן צענזוס פון 1897, האבן געוואוינט 11,400 יידן צווישן א באפעלקערונג פון 23,700, (בערך 48% פראצענט).[1]. אין 1890 האט מען געבויט א גרעסערן יידישן שפיטאל במקון דעם אלטן.

צווישן די יארן 1911-1939 האט מען ארויסגעגעבן צוויי יידיש־שפראך וואכנבלעטער אין דער שטאט.

אין די לעצטע יארצענדליקן פון צארישער הערשאפט האבן די אנטיסעמיטישע העצונגען געקומען אויך אין שעדליץ מיט א פאגראם אין 1906, ווען 26 יידן זענען אומגעקומען. נאכן ערשטן וועלט קריג איז די שטאט געווען אקופירט פון דער רויטער ארמיי אין 1920 און דער פוילישער ארמיי אין 1921.

אין 1921 האט דער ערשטער פוילישער צענזוס האט געציילט 14,685 יידן אין שעדליץ, 48% פון דער באפעלקערונג. די צאל האט זיך נישט קיין סאך געענדערט; אין 1939 האבן אומגעפער 15,000 יידן געוואוינט אין דער שטאט. מיט דער נאצישער אינוואזיע איז געזיגלט געווארן די היסטאריע פון יידישן שעדליץ, אזוי ווי גאנץ פוילן.

אין 1940 האבן די נאציס געשיקט קיין שעדליץ טויזנטער יידן וואס זיי האבן פארטריבן פון לאדזש, קאליש און פאבעניץ. מערץ 1941 האבן נאצי סאלדאטן גערודערט אין שעדליץ און געהרגעט אסאך יידן. אויגוסט פון דעם יאר האבן זיי אויפגעשטעלט א געטא וואו זיי האבן אריינגעשטופט אלע יידן. ֿ אויגוסט 1942 האבן די נאציס דעפארטירט די שעדליצער יידן 10,000 קיין טרעבלינקע און זיי געשאכטן דארט. די איבעריגע יידן פון דער שטאט האבן זיי אוועקגעשיקט און פארניכטעט אום25סטן נאוועמבער, 1942.
