Rukūʿ (arabcha: رُكوع, [rʊˈkuːʕ]) Islomdagi ikkita narsadan biriga murojaat qilishi mumkin:
- Odatiy namozlarda ruku qilish harakati, egilib qoʻllarni tizzaga qoʻyish[1].
- Qurʼonning bir bandi[2].
Namozda Qur’onning bir qismi oʻqilganidan (qiroat) soʻng egilishni anglatadi. Ruku’ning vojibligi haqida ijmo bor. „Allohu akbar“ deb ruku qilinadi va 3 marotaba yoki undan koʻp toq marta: „سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْعَظِيمِ“ „Subhana robbiyal-aʼziym“ (tarjimasi „Ulugʻ Robbim pokdir!“) deyiladi[3].
