Муніципалітет розташований на відстані[2] близько 7100 км на південний захід від Парижа, 25 км на північ від Фор-де-Франса.

Економіка

2010 року серед 2265 осіб працездатного віку (15—64 років) 1525 були активними, 740 — неактивними (показник активності 67,3%, у 1999 році було 69,3%). З 1525 активних мешканців працювало 988 осіб (511 чоловіків та 477 жінок), безробітними було 537 (229 чоловіків та 308 жінок). Серед 740 неактивних 263 особи були учнями чи студентами, 185 — пенсіонерами, 292 були неактивними з інших причин[5].

У 2010 році в муніципалітеті числилось 1307 оподаткованих домогосподарств, у яких проживали 3442,0 особи, медіана доходів виносила 10 279,5 євро на одного особоспоживача[6]
