Yunus Emre, Erzurum ilinin Palandöken ilçesine bağlı bir kentsel mahalledir.

Tarihçe

Daha önceleri Erzurum ili Merkez ilçesine bağlı olan mahalle, 2008 yılında, yeni kurulan Erzurum ili Palandöken ilçesinin bir mahallesi olmuştur.[5]

1993 yılında Büyükşehir olan Erzurum’da, 2012 yılında 6360 Sayılı Yasa ile, tüm köylerin tüzel kişiliği kaldırılmış, bazı mahalleler birleştirilmiştir.[6] Bu aşamada Palandöken İlçesi’nin merkezinde bulunan 13 mahalle, mevcut 5 mahalle ile birleştirilmiştir. Bu Mahalle de Ertuğrul Gazi, Osman Bektaş ve Palandöken mahalleleri ile birleştirilmiştir.

Coğrafya

İlçenin merkezinde yer alan mahallesidir. Kuzey sınırı Erzurum içinden geçen D.260 numaralı devlet yoludur. Kuzeybatısında Müftü Solakzade, Doğusunda Abdurrahman Gazi mahalleleri yer alır. Palandöken Kayak Merkezi bu mahallededir.
