Tuğgeneral Sir Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart, Büyük Britanya bilimkurgu dizisi Doctor Who'da kurgusal karakter. Mervyn Haisman ve Henry Lincoln tarafından oluşturulan karakteri Nicholas Courtney oynamıştır.[1] Dünya'yı uzaylı tehditlere karşı savunan UNIT'in kurucularındandır. Ayrıca İngiliz birliğinin komutanı olarak hizmet vermiştir. Doktor'un en iyi arkadaşlarından olan Tuğgeneral, çoğu zaman Doktor'a yardım etmiştir.

Toplam 23 öyküde görünen Tuğgeneral, ilk kez 1968 yılındaki "The Web of Fear" adlı öyküde Patrick Troughton'ın oynadığı İkinci Doktor'la beraber görünmüştür. 1970'lerde "Spearhead from Space" öyküsüyle Jon Pertwee'nin oynadığı Üçüncü Doktor'la ilk kez görünen Tuğgeneral düzenli olarak dizide yer almaya başlamıştır. Son kez 1989 yılında "Battlefield" adlı bölümde Sylvester McCoy'un oynadığı Yedinci Doktor'la görünmüştür. Yaklaşık 20 yıl sonra 2008'in sonlarında Doctor Who dizisinin spin-offlarından olan The Sarah Jane Adventures dizisinde görünmüştür.[2] 2011 yılında Doctor Who'nun "The Wedding of River Song" bölümünde On Birinci Doktor, Tuğgeneral'in durumunu öğrenmek için hastaneyi aradığında Tuğgeneral'in öldüğünü öğrenmiştir. 2012 yılında "The Power of Three" bölümünde Tuğgerenal'in kızı Kate Stewart UNIT'in bilimsel danışmanı olarak ilk kez görünmüştür. Kate Stewart en son ellinci yıl özel bölümü olan "The Day of the Doctor" ve sekizinci sezon finali "Death in Heaven" bölümünde oynamıştır. Ayrıca "Death in Heaven" bölümünde Tuğgeneral, bir Siber olarak görünmüştür.
