Sinhalalar veya Sinhaliler (Seylanca: සිංහල ජාතිය, Sinhala Jathiya), Sri Lanka adasına özgü Hint-Aryan dili konuşan bir etnik gruptur.[6] Sri Lanka nüfusunun yaklaşık %75'ini ve 16.2 milyondan daha büyük bir sayıyı oluşturuyorlar. Sinhala kimliği, dile, tarihi mirasa ve dine dayanmaktadır.
